Pawlee (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you visit pawlee.uk.

What data we collect

Email addresses

If you sign up for our waitlist, we collect your email address via Web3Forms. We use this solely to notify you when Pawlee launches. We do not share your email with third parties, use it for marketing beyond Pawlee launch updates, or sell it.

Analytics data

We use two analytics services:

  • Vercel Analytics — a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service that collects anonymised page view and performance data. No personal data is stored. No consent is required.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — used to understand how visitors use our site and to support our ad-funded business model. GA4 sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) only after you grant consent via our cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised by default.

Cookies

We only set cookies after you grant consent. When you first visit, a cookie consent banner appears at the bottom of the page. If you accept, GA4 analytics cookies are set. If you decline, no cookies are placed and GA4 operates in a cookieless mode.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (not as a cookie) under the key pawlee_consent. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser storage.

Third-party services

Data retention

GA4 analytics data is retained for 14 months. Email addresses collected via the waitlist are retained until Pawlee launches and the initial notification is sent, after which you can unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time
